I am new and have today come to the conclusion I have a problem. I cant go more than a few days without a gamble. As of this evening I have lost £15k in space of 3 days and I was up almost that amount over past few months. IF YOU WIN A LOT, WALK AWAY AND DONT LOOK BACK!!!. I learned my lesson the hard way this week. I feel sick, stupid and an idiot. I won a decent amount of money online a few years ago, online slots is what i play and can be addictive. I should have walked away then and I do really regret not doing so now. Life is for living and not wasting the very asset you have to do things and create opportunity on, money!. Dont make mistake I made, please, please, please listen!!. As of today I am stopping for good, greed is a powerful thing, dont let it rule your life. I could have instead gone a luxury holiday etc etc with money i won over past few months, but no i lost it all. I am changing my life for good now, please use my story to do the same.

Its a complex addiction and believe me that recovering gamblers on this forum know that they could never really walk away when they were addicted.
Online slots will destroy you faster than anything. With advice and counselling you will put on the blocks and not allow the gambling industry on your computer and in your home. With a new healthy mindset you will wonder why you ever did it and move on with your life

Compulsive gamblers can't walk away when they win, they can't win because you can't stop. Because it's not about the money, it's about the compulsion to gamble.
You can overcome it, there's a lot of advice on the forum about keeping the time money location triangle broken, take one away and you can't gamble. Blocking software, handing over financial control, ditching the smartphone, there's a lot you can do to help yourself. At the same time, get help, best from GA.
Taking these measures will change things. But you have to do it, for you. If you don't, who will?
