Have put all exclusions in place. Day 4.  No gambling.  That’s great for me.  I used to gamble every day. It was my salvation.  No more.  Devil in disguise

I’ve just looked at my bank account for the last few months.  Since start of December. I’ve list £1600 in total.  £900 in December and £700 in January.   Thus might not seem like a lot of money to some people but to me that’s a fortune.  I only have just over £2000 per month to pay my mortgage, other bills and feed and look after 5 people including myself.  Thus was a shock to me.  Didn’t really know the damage I was inflicting until now.   Glad I looked though.  Now it’s reality

Thats great, some people never realise the damage until they have hit rock bottom to a stage where other people suffer the indirect concequences, gambling is like any entertainment establishment u pay for a service however what they dont tell u its highly addictive and can cost u unlimited amount and more devasting the more funds you can get your hands, you need to cut your losses, be honest with your family and invest your time in recovery its not like any other addiction where u eventually have control over it ive personally had relapse after 2 years and 6 month and it felt like i never had stopped to begin with, you to be 100% honest with your place blocks hand over any money as tempations will be their early on, gambling trigger will try everything to entice you back into it again from boredom to stress or any other probem u may have talk to people keep yourself occupied it does get easier buy u not accept its you that has a problem you cannot gamble within means
