Dear Signe,

Thank you for your post and a very warm welcome to our forum.

It is important to get as much support as possible and joining this forum is a good first step.

If you haven't done so already, do get in touch with one of our advisors on our freephone Helpline 0808 8020133 or on our Netline http://www.gamcare.org.uk/netline. Both lines are open everyday from 8am to midnight. We can offer you more help, support, information and we can also refer you to one to one counselling sessions. We provide free counselling for anyone who is experiencing difficulties resulting from a gambling problem throughout Great Britain.

If your problem is online gambling it would be useful to install a blocking software on your computer and/or phone to block all access to online gambling sites. You can get more information here http://www.gamcare.org.uk/get-advice/what-can-you-do/blocking-software#.VguvwflVikp

Wish you all the best and keep posting.

Warm regards

Catarina

Hello there. I am new here too. I am quite shy but feel that I needed to be strong and say hi. I hope that by making this first small step I can start on the journey to recovering from this wicked gambling behaviour. I wish all the best for everyone else here with your own journey, no matter where you may be and hope we can each help one another become free from gambling. Godspeed, OtterLady.
