Thanks star 27!

Guys its been 32 days no gambling and i feel so diffrent... i cant really explain you just need to see for yourself! WHEN you get to this stage you will understand. ive been gambling for around 15 years and ive got memories coming back to me from year ago. its like ive been a zombie for years just moving on in life looking down and not focused on what was happening around me. I look at my wife and my daighter and im thinking how did i get here? Where the last 15 years gone? ive missed so much. the world has so much to offer. Again i cant really explain but will all soon see what i mean.

The question is... AM I LOSING IT?!! when i read back what ive just written its sounds like im on a diffrent plantnet. but its the only place i can actually sau what im feeling becaue ive kept this secret life of being a addcited gambler to myself all these years!

Hi Spraggy2014, im good thanks. how are you? Its good that you walked away after one spin but you have to stay out the bookies mate. go get a coffee or a beer instead. that £13 you won is nothing compared to how much they will take from you in the future. can you imagine if you lost that £20? i gaurantee you would have put more in there chasing your money! be strong this weekend... check in as much as you can. keep reading what other people are goung through. theres a guy who lost 120k in 8 hours just last week and that was his retirment money!! can you imagine how he feels... going from having a comfortable retirement... pun lunches, little holiday, etc to having a basic life and struggling to keep up. mate... we need to stop this before its to late.

Spot on Chris... the time for messing around and treating this as a game has passed. This is serious life changing stuff. Need to get it confined to history.

We seem very similar on that Chris. I think I've been playing round with quitting for too long. I'm totally done with it. It's over. I fail to see the point anymore as I never win.

How long have you been gambling change? Im 34 and been doing it since 18 started on the fruities and then moved onto the roulette machines. Something just clicked in my brain and I've suddenly looked at myself and through what the hell are you doing

Yeah gambling properly since I was legally able to... but it wasn't compulsive gambling. I'd say the past 4 years have been compulsive behavioural gambling. Large bets. Lots of stress. Lots of anxiety. Every day. In the past it was a coupon every weekend and nothing when the football season finished. I bet on any and everything and mostly I know very little about the sport. I was fasinated with bet fair. I saw videos of people trading and winning but it's all smoke and mirrors.

At home playing with my daughter, we walked to the shop earlier and I've just realised I didn't even think about buying a scratch card!! I forgot they were there. 35 days today. Feeling happy and a lot more relaxed. I can't believe how much better I feel and it's only been 35 days. I've noticed that a lot of people only come on here when they've lost or when theve just gambled and then disappear for months and then come back saying the same thing. So what I'm going to do is to try and check in every few days at least, even if no one reads it its great for me to keep track of my progress. I thank everyone for your support and it's great that I've got somewhere to share my thoughts as I've kept this secret for 15 years to myself! I hope your all having a gamble free day!!
