Hi my name is Dan I have had a problem for years a year and a half a go I nearly lost every think when my parter found out I was gambling again and had to beg forgiveness I didn't gamble for about 4 months then since then I have been gambling again I have lost a lot of money agin I just need this to stop right a way before I lose everything I can't make g a meetings due to work commitments I just would like to make a friend on here that has the sme problem that we can bounce off each other and help each other though each day if you are in the same boat or even think you could help me please get in touch thanks Dan

Welcome to the forum. You will find plenty of help and support on here and I am sure that you will find somebody to work with. Can I ask what has brought you here? Sports? Casinos? Slots? I only ask as we are all in the same boat as CG's but some will relate to others more based on their addiction.

My problem was the same so I will probably be able to relate to everything. There are many on here that have suffered from the dreaded slots.
I personally have gambled for 20+ years and when I found online slots my world turned upside down. I became the typical secretive, lying, cheating person and doing anything I could to get money to play. I would wait up on payday until 12.10am when my wages would drop into my bank and then up all night until it was all gone. At this point every month I would fall to pieces, take the day off work, feel low, sick etc.....you know what I mean!
It's a nasty horrible addiction but with the right support, blocks in place and the WANT to stop you can do this.
I am now 60 days gamble free with very few thoughts or urges.
