I know it quire early and I have work in a few hours, but really does help just reading stories on here, carnt wait for the day to come if it ever does that I'm not thinking of fruit machines or gambling or the amount of money just thrown away. It's like my brain is programmed to thinking about these thing.

Your day will come pops..everyday you fight your addiction will make it easier. ..I remember my counsellor showing me drawings of how the brain 're wires itself when we're in the grip of those slots ....constantly looking for the buzz it gave the brain....she told me it's all part of recovery to "disable" that link...let those days build up and it will happen...I know in those early days it feels like your digging a hole on a wet sandy beach and you just can't keep the water out of that hole .....but trust me as the days stack up those thoughts and urges get less and less.
