Hi

I joined a casino a few weeks ago was doing fine not going mad and then it all changed my old demons appeared I got my money up and then the casino said I had reached my monthly withdrawal limit, I promised myself I wouldn’t play on as I new the dates to withdraw and I was going on a family holiday. Last night of the holiday I get tempted to play and lose it all and put in more I am so ashamed of myself I had it back up and could have left but I didn’t and I don’t know what to do. I have never gambled that kinda balance in my life on a roulette spin I am really annoyed at myself. I had been doing so well why have I done this I don’t know if will ever get this back I keep thinking about my son.

@atnyhp6sz7  I think many of us will identify with your post mate.

Was this an overseas online casino by any chance?

Whatever the case you need to ban yourself from gambling.  You can download gamban free which blocks any casino site.  There is gamstop that you can sign up to.

If it is a land based casino you can exclude with them as well.

It is very easy to lose control and just keep spinning the wheel.  The brain rewards you with each spin and a win will make prompt you to do it again and again.

I have done this many times and then thought 'Why did I not just withdraw and stop?'

Don't beat yourself up.  You are in good company!  What is important now is that you learn from what happened and take practical steps to stop it happening again.
