Hi need 2,

What you’re feeling is entirely normal, embrace and face it with all your energy! You are doing fantastically well so far!

once you next get paid it will be challenging, again, strength will be required, and if you are that worried, leave your cards at home, or something similar.

Hopefully by the time you next get paid you will view gambling in a different light? And although you may he thinking, I could just do the odd £5 etc, I hope for your own benefit that you don’t, I won’t lie, it’s hard, but once you sleep, and wake up the next day knowing you got paid and didn’t instantly gamble, boy is it rewarding!

Stronger together

Mark

I've made it to day 10 and really struggling cheltenham was yesterday and alot of my mates had a good day on the horses, one won a 2k double. I've got 11 quid in my account and up to this point thinking might aswell just take one of these pay day loans and try win some back over the festival, I've got 14 days left til payday and I'm just thinking how the hell am I to manage on the 11 quid, my Bill's are paid I've got a full tank of fuel but I'm really struggling now, and I just keep thinking I can win it back, if I had 100 quid I'd feel half better about going to the 25th...ugh

Hi Need2stop

Your in the very early days of recovery and a word of warning it  is very easy to slip into a false sense of security

Its strange but the first few days after a blowout are probably the easiest because you have fresh motivation to want to stop and theres almost a novelty to is

Its when the weeks start wearing on you need to be at your most diligent

when an expensive occasion crops up and you’ve got no budget for it because you have to allocate a mass of your wage to debt repayments

that is when you will be tested
