Hi, I'm new here. I have realised that I have a gambling problem. I can go months without gambling and then I'll have a bit of a bad time, hit self district and turn to gambling. I have been quite lucky in the past and managed to get myself out of the trouble I've got into and promised myself I'd never do it again. And then I'd do it again. This time I have gone too far, I do not have an arranged overdraft with my bank and have managed to get myself 790 in debit! I am so angry at myself, constantly worrying about how I'm going to sort it out. Will the bank close my account? Will they help me being as I'm completely at fault. Can anybody here advise me? What would my next steps to sorting this out? I am looking into blockers at the moment as I do not trust myself. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you x

Hi Gac - well done for looking for help! As Dal has said step change good advice and support. As finances is usually the impact this doesn’t stop you gamble, so need to put barriers up / self exclusion gamblock / hand finances over to a friend / partner? Don’t gamble again and things will get better day by day!
