Be prepared if do open up strangers will observe you and be 100% honest my Ga group very helpful they have created a wassap group so if u have any urgues or feel like talking to someone it easier to do so as they are more understanding, the more u open up the more support they can offer you, and if you do end up having a relapse just be honest its only way its going to work

Tazman is right. Personally I miss not being able to go to GA at the moment but I stick around on this forum to keep myself well aware of the dangers but also try to help others it I can.

GA is the best form of recovery imo

Take care

The only requirement for GA membership is a desire to stop gambling. That’s it. That’s all you need.
You’ll be given a chance to listen to others stories, and a chance to share your own story without judgement. How much you get out of it depends on how honest you are but it’s a place where others understand you and whatever you may have done in order to keep gambling.

You’ll get given some literature to read which should answer your questions but you’ll also be a part of the most successful form of stopping gambling and changing your life that’s available, and it’s free(albeit a small contribution towards the costs).

When you’ve been come back here and tell us of your experience. Give it 90 days too and keep this as a diary to see your progress.

No luck needed.

Chris.
