Hi all,

i had gambling problem for about 2 years, was spending 200-300£ on differnet online sites. The first step what i made i was transfering all my wages to my partners account, but still i hold 200£ on my account so i can play, in past few weeks i had emotional breakdown and said to my self, this search for "happyness" (gambling) needs to stop, so all last pay i sent to my partner, and still i had this demon inside telling, lets play, lets play, just 10£. But i didnt have spear money so downloaded app who offered 10£ welcome bonus, just poped in the random details and account was open with 10£ bonus play, in the end i realised im doing very wrong thing after opening dozen of them. Can the site accuse me for fraud? i didnt use any credit/debit cards to register it only asked me for name, email, and DOB, address. I was surprised that even entering zeros it allowed to open an account. today i deleted the app and told my self that all this is wrong.

So tonight within 1 hour i closed ALL my accounts on my name for lifetime and even asked customer services to keep a note to prevent me to reopen them.

A.

IMost of these bloody sites are based outside the UK to avoid paying tax, they're the frauds. That bonus money isnt even real money anyway, if it was you could withdraw it without playing. The most they would be to stop you having any winnings from it.

'd like to see them try and accuse fraud, they're the thieves not you. You have to turn that 'free £10' over about 1000 times anyway, a trick to get people playing a long time and hooked, enticements like that should be illegal in itself. At least you didn't spend any of your own money on them and closed them all down again. So give yourself a pat on the back for that.
