Hi retzy, well done for taking this first step you will receive a lot of support here from a lot of like minded people who know just what you are going through.

I suggest putting a blocker in place so when you get the urges to play bingo you can't I am not the best person to give advice on these but I'm sure somebody on here can help. Good luck ste26

Hi there, thankyou for your reply. I have looked into it and it appears Gamblock is the best so we are going to use that. It costs over £50 but is apparantly 100% and I can spend fifty in 20 mins so it be a great investment

hey, well done on opening up on here, i am 41 and 12 days into recovery and it feels great, the money is gone but you like me still have plenty of time ahead to rebuild. Lets not waste the next 20 years. get that software on asap and that will help, also spend as much time on here reading the other stories. also a good idea is to start a diary from day one and commit to updating it every day to remind you about where you were and also where you want to be. Gamble free!

Welcome to the site retzy, your problems are similar to mine but I was doing the on line bingo and slots, have thrown £1000s of pounds away which I believe my husband is unaware of, I am 7 days gamble free today but finding it really hard. I seem to think about gambling 99% of my time & feel really stressed out about it. We have to stop as it destroys everything I hate all on line slots and bingo sites with a passion now. Keep strong we can beat this J x
