I an f****d mate, only got paid on friday, all money gone in 3 days,  and that is a 4 weekly pay cycle, so, i am now 2 months late with my rent, so be homeless in a months time, further and further into misery, but at least i have no more money to gamble with because i have exhausted it all now, in a way i am happy with that, maybe i can go to work tomorrow and earn money, instead of gambling it away, maybe no more i dont work for nothing, cant get loan get get overdraft, but at least after my 25th relapse maybe the penny may drop, i hate money as much as i hate gambling, ( but i suppose ever (mug) gambler feels that way) like myself, if you win a bit big it is good, a buzz, but now i have lost everything, so what is the point, i just hope i never have money again
A bit of a drunk response, so i say sorry for my bad grammer, but no money not a bad thing, at least i cant gamble now, i do want to help people in same problems, does GAMSTOP actually work?
Hi, I think knowing yourself and the reasons why you gamble helps and that only comes from being honest about it. I suppose that's why a forum is good, you tell your story.
For me there are a number of reasons why I gamble and once you know why you can try to fix them.
1) Feeling cheated by life as I have and that maybe I will win big and that somehow will make me happy.
2) Trying to get that high when you do win. Makes me forget about my problems (for a short while).
Hope this helps, somehow.
That which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.
Affected by gambling?
