I hope it is ok to post here for feedback. I am really struggling with my gambling addiction. For awhile it was in person at the casinos, but they are 2.5 hours away so I have taken to gambling on my phone. I feel so psychologically attached to my online games that I can barely leave the house. I don't want to do much of anything except play 24 removed link I tried GA awhile back and never really connected to it. Hoping to find others who understand and can share how they got through it.
hello to whoever is reading, and i hope your having a good day/ week. I just wanted to talk about how much time and other things i have wasted whilst gambling. it sounds silly but i am on my first day of no gambling. I recently had a talk with someone online about my gambling addiction and it really did help. it made me discover that gambling is just a distraction from things going on mentally and physically. it is true. i have always had anxiety and suffered with over thinking for a while. I just wanted to say here that however bad your addiction is/was just know, that you are never a winner, even if you win a certain amount, you a paying a debt of your mental health. just think of how proud you'd be if you went a year clean and looked back on yourself. Now make that dream come true. Look back at this comment a year from now and think to yourself " i did that " i am on this journey too, and i hope to bring some people with me.
