Hi, does anyone know of any help where you don't need to attend meetings, maybe online or phone calls? It's not that i can't be bothered to attend. I suffer from anxiety with people i don't know. Especially groups. Really struggling with gambling now. Could really do with some advice. Thanks

Hi Marc and welcome , Gamcare have online / phone counciller's so maybe you could speak to them initially , obviously this place can offer online help advice and somewhere to have a rant if that's what you need ?, maybe think of starting a diary on the recoveries page as you tend to get more people replying to your posts , there's also a chatroom open a few times a day on here most day's ?.

Sorry I can't be more help but maybe spreaking with gamcare could be astarting point for you ?.

Best wishes Alan

Hi Marcjames

Thank you for joining the forum - we hope you find the support you are looking for. At GamCare we can provide online counselling via webcam which is proving very popular. We've been a bit overwhelmed by demand so you may have to wait a little time for registration to open up again but you can find out more here:

http://www.gamcare.org.uk/support-and-counselling/free-counselling/online-counselling

and in the meantime you are always welcome to call our freephone helpline on 0808 8020 133 or chat to us on the Netline.

Best wishes
