I'm at possibly my lowest. I've maxed everything, got a payday loan with every supplier, etc. It's gameover, literally. I won't be able to pay everything in May.

I'm trying to get booked in with my GP, try and get a handle on my anxiety, maybe some therapy.

If I can consolidate with a friend as a guarantor, I'll be okay. If he can't/won't help, then I'm gonna go into a DMP. Has anyone here been on a debt management plan before? How does it work with my history? This is gonna be a long road...

Dear jneedshelp,

well done for posting and well done for taking action.

I would recommend you get in touch with our Helpline on 0808 8020 133 or the Netline, the services are open 8AM to Midnight every day. Our advisers can discuss strategies with you and also refer you to one-to-one counselling if there is a service in your area.

With regards to your debt, I recommend you get in touch with Stepchange or your local Citizens Advice Bureau.

And I hope you were able to see your GP since yesterday.

Keep posting on the Forum and also read other people's entries, I think you will find the support on here very beneficial.

All the best,

Eva
