Hi everyone, new member here but feel I need to make a post to help me release what’s built up inside.
I have been reading a lot of posts on here which confirmed what I already knew in the back of my mind... I’m a problem gambler. I think in the last two years I have lost between 20k and 30k but yet I still have 1k in my bank account. I earn a decent wage each month but it worries me that I’m able to gamble 500 pound in a night, sometimes even more. I know this Is small in comparison to some members but hopefully still relevant nonetheless.
2 and half years ago I welcomed my first child into the world and 6 months later my partner left me for someone else. Up to that point I use to only put an acca on the football at the weekend like 90% of people. However the downward spiral came after the split and now I find myself secluded from friends and family... don’t know who to turn to next?
Although I don’t find myself in huge amounts of debt I know I have a problem and just wondered if anyone had any words of advice, I’ve set up Gamstop but I find myself using different email addresses.
