Well where do I start... What a week...

Blackjack seems to be my vice in life, today is the last day of playing online. It's taking over my life and is the only thing I seem to care about.

My savings have trebled mainly due to big wins playing Blackjack, but it's taking over my life, it's not healthy. I need to stop NOW. I find myself jumping between gambling sites maxing out the set limits. No matter the winnings the greed takes over.

I have self excluded from all accounts online, I actually need to go a day without playing Blackjack, that will be real success.

I'm a long term lurker and admirer of these forums but today I felt the need to reach out. No one knows about my blackjack 'habit' and I intend to keep it that way. I don't want people to lose trust in me.

I will report back in a week and I WILL NOT HAVE GAMBLED!!

Thanks for listening 🙂

@sf4c7ro58k Big wins mean you have more money to sponsor the addiction. It is not about the money as you very well know by now. You are addicted to dopamine and all the highs and lows. I am glad you recognized that it is starting to take over your life. Please STOP. The house always wins, and the odds will very soon be against you, and once you start losing, you will start chasing those losses by staking even higher till these big savings become debt. Quit while you are ahead, many of us had to hit rock bottom before we realized we really NEEDED and WANTED to quit. I am afraid that if you do not stop now, things will not be good. Install all the necessary blocks and move on with your life.

It is not about the money, or you would have stopped having already triple your savings. How much winnings will be enough? It is the high you are chasing, and your brain is also craving. Gambling to compulsive gamblers is losing far more than money.
