Hi All,
I have been gambling for over ten years this is my 2nd stint on this site but this time it is time to grow up and stop for the sake of my children. i am 27 years old and even thow my gambling has improved over the years still shocking.
FOBT Machines like most people are my poison i spent lots of money over the years looking at close to £90k taking in to account "winnings" as well.
they have wrecked my life turned me in to a very bitter person. me and my partner now live apart she lives with our sons but for me to get family back under one roof i have to do this.
so good luck to us all.
Good luck with that brassickid! I admire a person who will put his family above his illness. I wish you much success. Regards AM
Thanks PJ,
I look forward to my challaging batle.
Good luck mate!!! I'm in same boat but it's football betting that's been my downfall.. The wins are great but then you kid yourself that you'll win again and again but fail to realise it takes you a few hundred/thousand before another win!! To keep you hooked.. I've hardly spent anytime with the family or G/f etc as I'd rather be in play betting!! But it's time for change (similar to you) just got to realise there is only one winner in the end.. Loneliness/unhappiness and stress!! Not worth it!!
Hi all,
Been a while mainly due to losing my login i went from the 2nd of jan 2015 to start of this week without gambnling them messed up. dropped back in to old habbits lost £300 plus today which i won(well borrwed as no one ever wins) the day before. silly silly me so time to start counting all over again i am not going to let get me down just a blip in my addtction.
one thing i am thinking of doing to take my mind off it all is trying to create a national self excluding for gamblers and try and get on all book makers and and build a national system where shops can find a problem gambler at click of a button. because if everyone get checked before they can cashin winning it lowers risk of people doing it and book makers will do it. as help's with there duty of care.
i am sorry for the poor grammer,
I welcome people's feed back on my idea.
Thanks
BK
