Am definitely interested in checking into the challenge but am more than happy for someone to Update the days count.

If there's no interest I will pick it up though as I believe it to be a big benefit.

Ahhh I caved last night after drinking at the football match and gambled.... Im so sad this morning! The casino company gave me 100€ free to gamble, and I couldnt stop after I lost it. They really know how to get you. Day 1, im still coming to this site and I am still going to fight this, together with you guys. Stay stong.

Evening Suzy, I really hope that you can get through this difficult period you are having. You have done brilliantly previously by going over 500 gamble free days, and the lessons you would have learnt in that period would have been extremely benifical for your recovery.

Try and remain strong and take it a day at a time.

Thank you all for the kind words that you have said about my total, they really do help me along and mean so much.

If you are on 5 or 500 gamble free days, as long as you get through the current day, without parting with your well earned money then that's a huge success in itself. Your own personal barriers need to be running at all times, as this nasty addiction we all have, will take advantage of us when we least expect it.

Mike

Hi All

Unfortunately I had gambled for the past week and I am ashamed of it. I couldn't even make it to 2016. I can't seem to get past around 30 days mark.

So once again I accept the money is gone and I am a compulsive gambler. This has been proved over and over again.

I would like to congratulate Mike for his achievement and wish him and his family all the best of everything for the future.

Checking in for day 1 on 17 Dec 2015.

All the best,

Ergos

Hi Ergos,

Sorry to read of your blip, but pleased to see you have bounced straight back, and determined to not give up on giving up.

Don't be too hard on yourself, your blip will make you stronger than before,

Suzanne xx

Thank you Suzanne. Your message means a lot as I always said you are an inspiration and one of the rocks of this forum.

I am trying to stay positive, at least for my family but I feel mentally exhausted with this addiction. It is so hard to fight it rather than accepting to go along with what it says to you to do. But that's the only way, embracing recovery. Other option sooner or later leading up to disaster.

Take care all,

Ergos (compulsive gambler)
