I recently rang gam care and stopped gambling 4 8 weeks! It then suddenly started 2 creep back in2 my life. I've started 2 get urges again and have a little flutter not at the stakes that I used 2 but eventually It will be. Just wondering if this is normal?

What is normal when it comes up gambling?? For many yes it may be but those same people don't wake up the next day obsessed with thoughts of how to double that win or recoup that loss. They don't keep track of stakes as don't really care about the money side - it's entertainment. For us problem gamblers we will at some point lose control and keep going until we've somehow damaged ourself emotionally or financially. If you associate with that then do whatever you did last time and get another 8 weeks gamble free. Don't risk it for even small stakes, there's too much to lose.

I my experience after a period of time without gambling you become a bit complacent and think you've cracked it and can maybe just have one small bet.... and then you start again.

Yes I feel like I have became complacent and a bit lazy thinking that I have cracked it! I just don't understand y I have gone back 2 it. Seems like all the good work has been undone and I am back 2 square 1

As I started gambling in small stakes again as I said yesterday that I am stopping everything including the *********! Normally do 3 a line on my numbers with a return of 1800! These numbers came in 2nite and I am happy they did because it proves gambling isn't for me! I have done these and other numbers 4 over a year and never won!! This is going 2 make me more determined than ever 2 stop even tho it's hard 2 take
