Well guys I'm back here again. Lying in bed sobbing at the mess iv once again landed myself in. I was gamble free. I was happy. I had no urge or need or want to gamble. And yet this weekend I logged online and deposited hundreds of pounds that I couldn't afford. Not happy with that I pawned an item and stopped to play more in the bookies. I won a little back and kept it for a whole day. Needing to double the figure to pay the bills iv not paid I visited another bookies today and lost the lot. In the grand scheme of things it shouldn't be that bad. I feel so sick it hasn't made me want to play more and I could have put this down to a blip and moved on. My problem is I can't get credit from anywhere and I had money to gamble as due to the bank holiday, my car finance payment didn't come out my bank. I am already a month in arrears so now I am panicking they will come and take my car? Has anyone had any experience of car loans? How quickly do they repossess?. I honestly can't beleive I could be so stupid. I need my car for work and yet for the sake of 165 pound I have risked losing it. I have nobody to turn to for financial help. I no longer have any ccjs on my credit file but I might as well be bankrupt as I can't even get a payday loan based on my credit score. I am so disappointed but worse it has brought back my anxiety and I'm having the panic attack from hell. Can anyone give me any advice on my car finance? It was a loan I secured on my car and if I'm not wrong it was done as an Hp agreement with stupid interest applied x
IT seems there isn't even any support on here anymore either. For what financially wasn't the biggest disaster emotionally this is tearing me apart

Not sure on the facts but go and speak to the citizens advice bureau tomorrow. They normally have drop in's even if you can't get an appointment.
Might be worth getting some help for your gambling problem too? Counselling from gamcare or gamblers anonymous?

As Tri says CAB and you may want to give the car people a call to see what arrangement you can agree. If you dont ask and dont tell them they may re-possess so you might as well call.

Most importantly, communicate with your lender. If you're in financial trouble then they are there to help you. Write to them and explain your circumstances Š²Šā some lenders will reduce payments for a few months to allow you time to get back on your feet. If you have no joy with them, then visit your local CAB and get some specialist advice
