Yes, I'm still getting used to it myself 🙂

I'm glad you're on the straight and narrow, I'm on Day 150 today. Not been easy!

And yes, I'm here for the whole hour. I just like having a good chat! And miss the Chatrooms.

Hopefully, we can build up some momentum and sparkle on here instead whilst the Gamcare Big Cheeses work out the issues.

66 days is great SJB. That's two solid months proving you can handle two months of paydays. That speaks volumes; especially at this time of year! (and no worries about the other day btw 🙂 )

Yes, chatrooms were good. I could just pop in on my breaks for a quick hello..it was fun when we used not to have moderator for a while (we did behave tho)

Big big part of my recovery still feels ripples of the absence of the room but we gotta keep moving somehow ☺

This room is ever so busy as I see 😉

Yes it will take a while for financial side of things to settle down. It's good knowing I am few hundred down the debt rather than up...lil steps and all that ☺

Yes, without a moderator we kept it going just fine eh!

And you're right, we've got to keep on moving.

And yes, it's a bit quiet; I think Sunday nights tend to be. This Chatroom thread may or may not take off, but it's worth a whirl.

I agree, it is all about little steps. That's why I fully subscribe to keeping gambling free one day at a time - it's not a case of suddenly saying "We won't ever gamble again". It's not as simple as that, as we well know. This is a baffling and complex condition - a 'one day at a time' philsophy is just right I reckon 🙂

And delighted your debts are subsiding at a few hundred quid a month - it all adds up 🙂

True, that's the most we can do. 24hrs is long enough for one try anyways ☺..it just proves that it is doable if we want to and work towards freedom

Yes, it is do-able if we stick at it; I make very sure that I don't have cash on me; I don't have a card, and only what I need. Just in case I feel 'tempted', I know I can't with less than a tenner!

Yeah, not too bad thank you. Out with my son to the kid's playcentre (he's 5!), so he liked that. Apart from that, mostly at home 'cause it's so bloody cold.
