Sorry to hear that just. It sounds odd but it is brilliant to be gamble free at a time like this. So you can give your loved ones the time and attention a time like this deserves. Stay strong for everyone. Checking in gamble free

Checkin in day 6. A huge break through for me today. I won £1000, well what I mean is I didn't lose £1000 because that would have been my stake on one of the games today. I was craving that bet but didn't do it. When all the final whistles went it felt like a weight lifting off my shoulders. Just got to keep going now.

Try to steer clear of that thinking Tom not that it will catch you out every time but it is a dangerous way to think. Your doing well onwards towards 10 days

You mean, thinking I've won? On reflection, probably not the best choice of words for this forum. What I think I mean is I won by not actually taking the plunge and betting. The adrenalin rushes, I believe have actually made me ill. I've had a cold for an incredibly long time, it messes with your nervous system, all the highs and lows. I'm actually feeling a bit down today, the realisation that gambling can no longer be part of my life is actually quite depressing. The highs from it would just make me feel like I was invincible. That will pass I guess. Still focused on pushing on, all I have to do is not gamble, easy right? I've got loads of hobbies a great family decent job and loads of great friends. Addiction doesn't care who you are or what you've got, when it gets hold of you it's tough! Anyway soldiers, onwards and upwards.

Tom I am not preaching, as I would be guilty of this quite often. But be careful with it as it's the same mindset. Your doing well and it's not a battle to be fought today. Awareness is the key

Checking in day 22, in the middle of a run of night shifts, so haven't got the energy to get off the sofa, let alone find a betting opportunity.
