I'd like to join the Xmas challenge if ok? Traditionally over the Xmas and New Year I've been on the online slots heavily losing thousands and setting myself up for another tough year before it's started. Well never again I won't do that and have now seen the other side being GF for 101 days.

Hello all update number 4. We had 13 check ins this week. We actually have over 40 sign ups but unfortunately it is inevitable that some just stop checking in, some will be that they leave the site and stay stopped others go back to old ways and of course week by week some will forget to check in and I'm sure there's a few on the list below that haven't checked in but are still gamble free and I hope to see them checking in this week coming.

I do want to just pick up on the fact that so many come and go and although as I said some are still gamble free while others just go back to gambling, it is a very hard and serious addiction to fight but in many ways it's easy to fight its all about choices and taking the time to understand the urge that comes will pass, just take a moment and say why would I want to gamble I know what happens when I gamble. I had a diary on here in 2010 that's the earliest diary I remember wether I had an earlier one I'm not sure but I am unfortunately not 7 years gamble free I have had so many day 1's and each time I go back it got worse and worse. If you think you've hit rock bottom I doubt it, you go back and you'll find further pain. The gambling world for us offers nothing but despair. So I urge you all to keep strong and give your recovery a chance. Just commit to little goals at a time be it a day, week or month and keep it rolling you won't regret it.

I'm far from "cured" if there is such a thing and I'm far from an expert in these matters, I just type away and hope what I say can help.
