Late checking in this week myself! I'm hopeful I continue staying gamble free as it's so much better than the whirlwind life of a gambler.

Looking forward to a late night watching the Superbowl!!

Thanks for the update. Checking in time. I agree with Ineffable being decisive and taking action, you can sometimes get lost in that gambling world and become numb to it all but now we are woken and making the right decisions.

Sam checking in gamble free for the week. I procrastinate way too much, that is putting things off to another day. I'm just glad I didn't procrastinate when it comes to recovery!

Ive been self employed since 2012, up until 2016 as a sole trader. Since then I have had to register as a limited company. I was gambling up until Dec 2016, (I put the lottery on last January, thats why my day count dosn't reflect this). I never submitted my tax returns when I was gambling, and paid no income tax or NI. This trend continued once I was a LTD company, I have also neglegted to pay my corporation tax, or submit my accounts to companies house.

All last year, since I stopped gambling I've put it off and put it off. I havnt been on a jolly up with the money, but paid back a lot of debts, my boss, (the bloke I contract to) paid some loan sharks for me, I've paid him back.

I'd procastinate almost every week about paying my tax. Today writing about this on another thread gave me the kick up the backside, and I've been in touch with them today.

I don't know what the outcome is going to be, but I suspect it may entale going back to prison. I am not fretting about this, it is no foregone conclusion. Now they know where I live though I know it will be unavoidable so it will be sorted out, to be honest I am pleased about this.

My advice, dont procastinate about facing the consequences of your gambling past.
