Ok...I haven't posted for a few days and to be honest I haven't felt the need to. I'm finding my gym regime is keeping me focused, I urge anyone out there who feels a little depressed, to get more active. I am currently focusing on training as a healthy distraction. It's amazing how after a hard exercise session, how you actually make yourself mentally stronger.

I have no urges at all anymore really, not to say that I'm letting my guard down, I'm literally not even thinking about gambling. If you do read my diary at some point, I urge everyone to consider how working the outside of your body, does wonders for the inside. Your soul, the person you are will shine through when you feel good about yourself.

I'm not preaching, I'm literally inspiring myself these days, and hopefully this will inspire YOU. We can choose to fall, or get up and fight. We owe it to ourselves to find out what we are made of. What are your strengths? Once you find out, your flaws will be overwhelmed by all of your positive strengths...

Motivation is high...keep up your hard work people.

Paul

Great idea, dust the bike off and get some music going. It would be great for all of us to do more activities. Not gambling has certainly allowed me to focus on the exercise and not gambling. Try going somewhere you haven't been for a while, it might bring back some great memories.

Who knows? After a while you might find a challenge to take part in. A charity cycle, a competitive run or even just getting fitter. At least your leisure time will start to develop in to a far more enjoyable and fulfilling pursuit. Plenty of great places to exercise, join a gym, use the bike or get out for a walk. You will see the benefits in no time...good luck folks.

Great to see "no more losing" 🙂 / What kind of training do you enjoy? For me, it's all about using the stepper, skipping and weight training. It's amazing how a motivated mindset, helps to gloss over all the problems in life, if only for an hour or two. Literally, all you need is the will to do it. As this focus grows stronger, your urges to gamble will disappear.

I really am glad you guys are sounding positive, great people have their struggles. It's our ability to overcome these struggles that make us who we are. Let's do this...

Good luck

Paul

Hi Paul,
Thanks so much for your post and positive words, they really help, I'm getting stronger everyday taking away the ability to gamble takes away alot of the stress and temptation, I don't spend my time thinking about a big win anymore because the barrier is set.

Gym helps me in so many ways I do abit of cardio and that itself clears my mind and I feel good (all those endorphins lol) and weights, I love it.

Glad to see your doing well and on the right track this is how it should be. Healthy mind and healthy body. It is true your as good as you feel.
Keep strong and focused (and keep up the gym work)
No more losing
