So I emailed a pretty big online betting firm telling them I wished to close my account forever because I have a bad gambling problem. However they emailed me back saying my account was closed but I could reopen at anytime and restrict my deposit limits.

I think this is disgusting and surely not the way they should be operating !

Thoughts ?

Email them back and say you want to be self-excluded and not just have your account closed. Remind them of their responsible gambling obligations.

Yep a lot of online betting companies are like that. You need to be firm and say you want to be permantly excluded
