Feel good today. I shouldn't. I lost £80 this morning, but instead of punishing myself I decided to do something about it. I've taken steps in the past: swapping banks for a fresh start, reducing deposit limits, self exclusion, but nothing has stopped me. I've just put k9 on my I-phone, I then spent half an hour trying to get past it. I can't. It's brilliant. Feel better already. I never want to gamble. I want to live my life. I should feel terrible for what I've wasted over the past few days, but I don't, I feel positive that I've taken a step. There's no laptop in my house so I have no other way to access sites now. I downloaded betfilter 3 weeks ago after my last blip and it too is very good. I used to find it too easy to gamble every where i went on my iphone.
Problem for me is my laptop, after almost three weeks gamble free i gave in the other night and joined up to a random bookmaker and deposited £20, lost £50 eventually and then said enough was enough and self excluded myself.
I want to quit for good too, having the blocks in place helps but when i have it available to me i find it hard to say no.
If only my bank would just block me from depositing from gambling sites then this would all stop but have asked and they said this cannot be done.

Do you need to have a laptop? Mine broke years ago and because I could do so much on my I phone I never replaced it.
If you don't need it maybe you could sell it? Or could you not install software on the laptop?
I know what you mean about the banks, the one thing I've wanted all this time, knowing that I don't have the drive myself to stop, is to be able to put things in place so I just can't do it. I'm lucky enough to only be an online slot gambler so only need to remove the online temptation. I'd managed to get around the last blocks I put in place and also got a new mobile that had no restrictions at all.
im also planning on 'accidentally' leaving my mobile at work on payday, just in case.
i know I still need to be vigilant and that this by itself may not be the answer but I feel a great sense of relief in it.
