Hi,I m playing for 5 years,playing every week,can't stop.Every time I ve lost the money(£500 a week) promising to myself this is the last time.Today I played slots mashine put another £900 this week and I won £5000 !I said to myself "how good that I play this week"but after half hour had gone,ve lost everything and like this is all my past 5 years.My hubby now about my gambling and each time I pro missing him that it was last time!I don't want to hurt him any more,we have children together and I want to get my life back!
It's so hard isn't it!! When you wake up in the morning you can't believe how stupid you've been and you convince yourself that it'll never happen again. ( if only we could bottle that feeling) but once a few days have passed you forget how you felt waking up and then that's when the urges kick in and tunnel vision takes over. We're all different and we all function in different ways and we all need to find our own tipping point before we realise enough is enough, I wish you all the best in your recovery and just being on here is a step in the right direction.
