Hello,

I'm just sad because my brother fell into gambling and now he and his wife are fighting over their debt to marston but they have nothing to give.

Can bailiffs go inside the house to get their belongings because of their debt?

I'm really sorry to hear this, It sounds like they are going through a really difficult time at the moment and that must also be really difficult for you too.

Do you know if you brother is having support for his gambling? There is a lot of support available, including for those affected by gambling, if you'd like to know more or just talk through how you are feeling please know you can talk to one of our Advisers on 0808 8020 133 or chat via our NetLine.

In regards to the bailiffs, the Citizens Advice have some useful information here:

Kind regards
