I have just opened a new bank account in another attempt to stop CG. I have found one that only has a cash card so no debit card. I only gamble online so I'm hoping this stops me. I'm looking forward to having more money each month and not wasting it all on slots. The account is with #######, only bank I could find just offering cash card but allowing me to get salary paid in and set up direct debits etc
Hi maxylou, I am also going to open a new bank account, my problem is online roulette, i have wasted 29,000 all been on credit cards but now i am with a debt management charity and i wont have any cards or spare cash to gamble with as my wage will be paying my bills and debts off, its actually a big worry taken away from me and i can get on with my life now without having to gamble. I just hope when my debts are paid off i dont repeat this mess again, hopefully i will realize how pathetic gambling really is, and i can beat this addiction.

Got my new account up and running and as soon as my wages hit it I transferred it to my new account. As soon as I am sure all direct debits etc are transferred I will close old account. I'm actually enjoying not having a Visa card cos I can't spend like I used to im handing over hard cash in shops and definately thinking more about what I spend on everything.
