Hi Andrew - thanks for checking in here. Keep posting if you're having urges. It's a difficult day so stay focused and try to relax.

Welcome Uncertain Outcomes - one thing is certain though (if my maths is any good...) and that's that there are 203 days left in 2016 and we're going to keep them gamble free!

What an odd day yesterday! Euro 2016 and no betting - I was like a fly trying to get through my day without getting wrapped up in a spider's web or one of those electric bug zapper things that you see in takeaways (Big Al probably has one in his chippy)! The joy of watching a football match for the spectacle that it is was quite good... until the last 2 minutes...

The fighting out there in France is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen and in my opinion I'd throw England and Russia out the competition. Over the past few days they've both been involved in way too much off-the-field action and it's beyond a joke. Police need to monitor the country for more serious activites than yobs deciding to rip up local business people's restaurants and shops to have a ruck.

Anyways stay safe everyone.

Hi change.

I was working yesterday and did in someways find it difficult. I knew I wasn't going to go over the road and have a bet but my head was still working over time and still is. I know I will not bet today. I'm looking forward to the Poland Northern Ireland game. Both sets of fans are quality and will be a good atmosphere. Couple of beers and will enjoy it. But no bet!

Stay safe mate

Gaz

Hi Fish... yeah it was a difficult, odd, weird, unusual, different, kind-of-a-day... but we got through that day and can move on to the next day.

Note - I'll keep on reducing the days in the subject of this topic - hence why we're down to 203 days now...

202 days to go... we'll get below two hundred later this week!

Feeling a bit off today as I'm looking at my to do list and got loads of things to do that I don't really want to do. The weather is very moody - dark grey sky, overcast and quite warm. Starting off thinking this day is going to be a bad one and I want to avoid interaction so I don't get more things to do then I already have to do. Really bad way to view things and I need to shift my mindset to see every challenge as an opportunity rather than a chore. It's tricky.

Anyways just make sure you stay away from the bookies and online. Stay safe and keep the faith.

Still on board. The Euros isn't my first footy tournament gamble free but I'm enjoying it all the same. Long work week ahead!

Edging towards the first two weeks of this challenge and bringing the count below the 200 days figure - 201 tomorrow then 200 on Wednesday. Bit gutted that chat got cancelled tonight. Hope everyone is doing well and feeling positive as we start to enter the height of summer.

Im ok pal. Bit of a weird day as started off grumpy with a bad mindset. Slowly got better throughout the day but slacked a little and so I've still got half of my to do list from today to do tomorrow plus some other stuff on top. I want to find a new hobby that I focus on while I'm waiting to feed my son in the evenings. I just can't think one up yet. I think that will give me some extra focus.

New hobby - running. Exercise is great in general and going for a run costs nothing. I'm back playing footy soon next month after (another) missed season through injury and I can't wait!
