so today I made a boo-boo and owning up to it is a big one. I registered to Gamstop end of last year for obvious reasons. Today I decided to go on to an online casino and make an account under my sisters name (she gave me permission to do so) but after doing this and winning I decided to withdraw £400, this is the amount i also deposited. The thing is, I used my own debit card under my name so it has been flagged. The account has been permanently closed and the company have said that they will actually refund the £400 to the third party method so no money was actually lost.
I just find myself worrying because even though my sister said I could use her name as a way around the gam stop that this is not the best of things to do and I’m worried she will get in trouble. We are sisters we share a lot of things and help each other out. I know this is a terrible thing to do so I don’t need the judgement but just wondered what people have had happen in similar circumstances.
Signing up to Gam care was the outcome of this as I knew I needed to sort myself out.
