Things are going Ok.

On Saturday 11th, I placed a Tenner Accumulator on the football looking for the big win to get me out of Debt. Lost off course.

So yeah its been 17 days now since I placed a bet.

Feeling a bit better with things, Im just blacking out the Debt and trying to forget about it.

Payday is now in 3 days, not that it really matters anymore. Doing a heap off overtime this month, Did a extra 30 hours this month. The tax man will probably take half off that but still should have a bit extra to live off this month.

I haven't gambled for

24

days

I must admit I have been tempted to place small few pound on accums but I have stood strong. Debt is the only thing getting me down. Other than that things are going good. I have been watching alot of Sports and haven't felt the buzz to gamble. I can enjoy watching them with the pressure. Will feel good to get to 31 days (1 Month)

What's you feelings on free bets? p********r is giving me 50 free bet if I use by tomorrow 00.00. Seems like a 100% waste not to do use it, when Im in the Debt to the eyeballs, I feel I may aswell threw it on a longshot accum that could clean my debt or even on a evens shot and withdraw the 50 and use it for essentials. In 2 minds here.

Things are the same really. Im in the same Debt more or less, Paying some off it with what I can save. Money is a struggle, I managed to get a 3000 loan out from the bank, that Im repaying 113 quid per month for next 3 year. I used that money to pay off people I owed money too that couldn't wait any longer.

I have hit a few blips on the way. I went back to my old ways in March, betting again. Wasnt big stakes, I was just putting a tenner on here and there which would perfectly fine if I was a normal person but im not.

I know if I ever get my head above water that Ill keep it above. I don't want to ever go back to living like this. Im determained.

* Changed my username there" By googling my name I found you could find this thread on page 1.

Have a stag do coming up shortly. 24th April. On the Friday we are going to the horse racing and on the Saturday we are going to the greyhound racing. It's going to be hard not to have a bet but Im sure I can manage it, ill just spend more time at the bar I think. It's sad that I can't enjoy the day out and be a normal person and have a few pound on the horses but that's how it goes just.

I get it, being in debt is tough, very tough and from what you said I can see you're not in a happy place.

However, I promise you 100%. From this very moment on, if you continue to gamble your life will only get worse and if you can find it in you to find the strenth and real deep desire to stop now, forever. Every single day from here onwards will be a better day. People's lives have changed in 6 months they have stopped, you might need longer so be it! Don't throw it away, it's not too late. Make that choice today that you give this addiction the respect it deserves so you fight it with real strenth.

I have fallen many times and have been in your shoes and worse. My life changed for the better only when I got myself together to take the desire to stop seriously enough. Otherwise, there's a new rock bottom just round the corner. It only gets worse and you can quite easily spend the rest of your life this way. You're a young man. Have time on your side but you can't lose anymore of your life to gambling if you want to turn things around.
