lHi guys just looking for a bit of feedback. I've only been in GA myself over 10 weeks but one man who has helped me a lot was celebrating his 20 year pin recently. Now this man has done so much for GA has helped so many people change there lives however at his pin he won't allow any his family come. His reason being the things he did when he gambled where so appalling he feels ashamed and doesn't deserve praise. This man is well thought off and his story is incredible. His son is desperate to come along but he won't have it.

Interesting Craig, makes me wonder if there's issues of forgiveness still lingering. What message does that give to the group about acceptance of the addiction?

tHe certainly accepts the addiction he absolutely admits he's a compulsive gambler and without GA his life would be out of control. Also he really enjoys other people's pins and seeing there family there. Maybe your right about the forgiveness thing. It's such a shame because the man has put so much into GA he travels far and wide to support meetings which are struggling. I'm sure his family will be very proud of the way he has totally transformed his life around. Just a shame they can't hear it from other people.
