Grandchildren obviously don't understand, plus my wife is complacent after I have not gambled for well over 13 and a half years, and yet again I find myself sitting outside in the sun alone for 45 minutes until they reappear with sweets and c**P toys won. This illness really has messed up so many things that other husbands and grandparents enjoy.
I wish that I could just get rid of this addiction and join in with everything again.
On the positive side, even after all that time you aren't resting on your laurels and have shown your determination to never gamble again. I actually applaud you for that! Amazing being gamble-free for so long and something that inspires me!
