I work with alot of others and there are a number off sweep stakes for the national, I feel bad refusing to pick a horse out of the hat and put a couple of pounds into the cup. I feel i have gambling under control, on Sunday it will be day 100 with not even buying a lottery ticket, What should i do about the national sweep stakes, I dont want to break the 100 days or does anyone think I would not be doing this. I know this is a minor issue but wanted to run it past you lot

Gambling is gambling. I wouldn't go anywhere near it. Just say you don't gamble. It works for me. They might call you a wowser or something but who cares.

Best wishes

Do you want to break your promise to your self & a good number of days for the sake of being embarrassed about standing up for what you believe is right. If you have to question whether its gambling then it generally is & in this case there is no doubt whatsoever. Do yourself a favour as Wal says just tell them you dont gamble no one will bat an eyelid
