Although I am not participating in the challenge I love the positivity on this entry especially Mixer. Any day bet-free is a FAB day - llots of other issues have to be addressed - just my view as always - but big respect to all doing it the way that suits them. Best wishes, Phil.

Good morning! Sunday today and the day of rest they call - yeah right, not in his 24/7 world! Anyway, thank you all for checking in and hope yesterday was blessedly GF. It was wierd yesterday; I had a dream that I gambled £1 on a 2p slot and felt really bad ... till I woke up and it was just a dream - phew!!! I am as resolved as ever as I hope you are.

However you approach this addiction, and this is a very personal journey for all of us, we know we have got to keep going and keep trying. There have been a few blips but if you do, like the old saying goes, fall down but get up stronger. It takes resolve this and I've said it before, if you think you'll get to the hundred days target then you will. Dare, for moment, to picture youreself at the finish line!

Now, you'll notice that the rollcall today starts 'Latest' rather than 'Daily' and this is for one simple reason - my full-time job has really cranked up and I will have less time on my hands. I have more time-consuming travel, outside of my working hours, and as you can imagine, it gets tiring! Therefore, the frequency of my updates will from now be every 2 to 3 days. Never more than that, and daily when I can. I'm sure you understand and I know most of us have to keep several plates spinning in this often stressful life!

Samson, you have asked to join and note also an impressive 133 days GF. Welcome aboard!

I have updated the table above to take into account my lack of update last night (had a nice night out round friends) and therefore we've gone up 2 days each - double bubble!

Keep strong everyone - We CAN and We WILL.

Still GF and off to see 'Lion' this afternoon with family (have a feeling I may fall asleep in the darkness of the cinema).

Hi Mixer. Great respects for your dedication, knowledge and enthusiasm on this forum. I read your post #5 on Mari's diary and was completely taken back. The visualization of the safe ship leaving the gambling shore behind.

Checking in Day 44 🙂

Hey Mix, don't fret about the updates.... step back a little from taking care of us and remember to take care of you first!

You don't go into a lot of your own personal stuff on here (that's totally fine) and I think it's easy for us to forget that you also have your own battle to fight, when any of us are down you pop up and are so full of encouragement it never fails to give me a lift....But...What about you Mix...Who gives you a lift when you're down....I'm waffling but I'm just trying to say.... I am grateful every single day for your support but please please put yourself first!

Mari x
