Good evening and glad to be indoors. It's absolutely pi -- I mean, raining rather heavily in my neck of the woods! I hope you've resisted the cunning and sneaky overtures of the gambling operators this weekend... they can try, with their glitzy wall-to-wall adverts but WE WILL RESIST and they are not getting a PENNY out of us. We know, first hand, the misery it brings and, frankly, we've had enough of it, right. Out in all weathers, our money is hard-earned and we are NOT working for an inanimate computer program, or machine, or dull, pointless betting skips to snaffle it from us. We have others to think about, and it's not fair on them. We're starting a new week. Hell, team, we are resolved. Right?

A man and a woman were sitting beside each other
in the first class section of an airplane..
The woman sneezed, took out a tissue, gently
wiped her nose, then visibly shuddered for ten
to fifteen seconds.
The man went back to his reading.
A few minutes later, the woman sneezed again,
took a tissue, wiped her nose, then shuddered
violently once more.
Assuming that the woman might have a cold,
the man was still curious about the shuddering.
A few more minutes passed when the woman
sneezed yet again. As before, she took a tissue,
wiped her nose, her body shaking even more
than before.
Unable to restrain his curiosity, the man turned
to the woman and said, "I couldn't help but notice
that you've sneezed three times, wiped your nose
and then shuddered violently. Are you OK?"
"I am sorry if I disturbed you, I have a very rare
medical condition; whenever I sneeze I have an
orgasm."
The man, more than a bit embarrassed, was still
curious. "I have never heard of that condition
before" he said. "Are you taking anything for it?"
The woman nodded, and replied...
"Pepper!"

Good morning! An early start for me today; off to Newcastle! Always enjoy my trips there, great bunch of people there. Here's to a GF day everyone!
Back to a new reality after a few glorious days in the sun.

Still GF and blessed to have been given this chance to turn things around and make the most of my life.
No longer counting GF days, as I have complete clarity on the steps I must now take, and the person I aspire to be.
There is nothing in my way to stop me other than me, and thats not going to happen as at long last I am on my side.
Looking forward to making today the very best it can be.

No. Why? Because I am marching along, with you, 31 strong, and am going to put my money where my mouth is.
Am I spending money on other things? You bet. I'm drinking more; and I've invested in holidays for the year. Decent holidays, that can only be paid for if I don't gamble. I've deliberately set myself up; given myself no choice but NOT to gamble.
How do my family feel about this? Well, I can tell you, they are delighted. Some great times ahead that they never expected - Wow. So how can I let them down? Simple - I can't, and I won't.
I will never profess that going GF is easy. Yet I realise what I have in life, the opportunities I have, and know that I need to keep GF forever, always day to day.
I'm drinking more, as I said. So that's one thing I need to work on, it's my release valve, as it were. But no-ones perfect!
The group we have here has some steel and determination. I know payday is a challenge; I really do. All I ask is: think about you and your loved ones (we all have some!). But mostly think about you and your happiness.
Think about the fact all you are doing, basically, is throwing money away. And that is it!
Life is once (however, I respect anyone who has faith that this may not be the case). Whatever our beliefs, though, let's really go for it this weekend. Payday weekend. Don't blow it all and then say: I won't gamble for a month because I've got nothing left for a month.
For once, KEEP your money. Just for once. Enjoy it, share it; but don't just convert it into fresh air.

I have been trolling through the forums having made the decision to sign up last night at midnight having lost again and spiraled into more unmanageable debt. I saw this post and it was hard not to get emotional, this is where I want to be, well done mate! Sign me up for the challenge; I am currently 1 day GF how often do you check in?
