*** ROLLCALL SUCCESS *** Mari (SC), you've hit the big 100 and are on Dalmation Day - 101 - today! A marvellous achievement and proving your unswerving determination day by day. We salute you! And salute Samson and Silver for crossing the symbolic, important, half-year point. 6 hard fought months; what can we say. We congratulate you because - we care, and it matters.
Hello everyone and thank you as always for keeping active on these forums, so that I can help ensure you're still on board with this challenge and, most importantly our continued GF recovery! It's an exciting week, as some of our number become the first to cross the 100 day line. I acknowledge personally the selflessness some of you have shown in resetting your day count to zero, in order to walk along with me, but your counts will not be forgotten come the day!
Some of us, including me, will have pangs of disappointment not to be crossing the finishing line but, my god, friends, if we have lapsed, will we get across the line? I thought I heard you right - YES.
There are 6 days before some of our group cross that line - March 26th marks when the finish line is substantively and successfully breached! What happens then, you may wonder. Is this 'it' for those that cross? Is the pressure off, is the game over? The answer is; NO, of course not! But recognition will be there as we start the next phase of our recovery... all to be revealed in the next few days!
Markman, Kirsty, JayD, Dswright, you are doing great - keep going! And Sbb; as supportive as ever, a real 'rock' in our group. (I strongly recommend to our group to read Skyblueblue's diary - a genuinely inspirational read.)

*** VERY CLOSE NOW! *** Only 3 days before some of our group achieve the objective- to hit 100 days together!
Thank you, as always, for updating your diaries and checking in! There are some truly stunning consective GF days attained by so many of us - let's keep it going! And only 3 days before the first of our group cross the 100 day finish line.
I would personally have loved to be part of your number. But, I am not prone to excuses or self-pity, and have started again and will, day by day, ensure I join you in due course. I will join you. We are all beyond excuses, because we CAN do this.
So, what will happen come the happy day, March 26th? Well.... here's the plan.
Everyone who hits 100 days on the challenge receives a BRONZE medal! I am currently commissioning the production of a medal, with a simple '100 day' motif, that I will arrange, through Gamcare, anyone who attains bronze medal status to collect. It is not expensive; but it is symbolic and unique. Once 100 days are reached, the medal cannot be taken away and can be placed in your wallet, or purse, as a permanent reminder of your achievement. I will sort out the logistics. (P.S. You may not wish to receive a medal, however you will be noted, with your permission, with 'Bronze' status, in future rollcall stats.)
Then ... once anyone has reached 100 days then the clock is reset to zero!!!! And then..
... the aim will be to reach a fresh 100 days. After which a silver medal is obtained, but only if 100 days follows the previous 100 days. In other words, 200 consecutive days. If you should relapse during this time, then the count resets to zero, however if you have previously obtained a bronze medal that is yours to keep as a reminder of your previous achievement.
The 100 day challenge will continue, with many of us striving for our bronze and some of us aiming for silver.
At the moment, here are our group members in the bronze medal position, heading towards 100 days in 3 days time:
babapapa
Dean0
dsh
fiddlesticks
JayD
Jim24
M (SC)
Sam
Samson
Silver
Skyblue
Triangle
Wardal
Over 50 of us have passed through this challenge, and above will be the first 25% (13) to pass through the 100 day gates in 3 days time - always one day at a time, of course, but proof to us all that, with the right attitude, support and the blocks in place - it CAN be done.
Let's all look foward to Saturday, when we can toast our first Bronze medallists. There are plenty of us in the slipstream, not far behind, so the celebrations will keep on coming! We will then focus on the next level - Silver.
Sbb - you've reached the highest legal darts checkout - superb. Not long before the top 3-darter!
Pander - we are always with you; god knows what some of us have to face at times... keep strong, mate, I have no doubt you are being the very best brother you could possibly be...
Wardle - thank you for offering to reset your count and walk alongside me, but, along with dean0, Sbb and Rhoda, your GF totals simply cannot be ignored - all on 97 days and deserved of that bronze on Sunday. You all have my total respect: thank you.
Change- thank you for your kind words, and catchy Youtube link!
Jim, thank you to you, too - heading towards that finish line with a flourish!
*** THOUGHT OF THE DAY ***
