Checking in on day 48. Congratulations to everyone closing in on 100 days. I hope to join you there shortly!
Payday for me today but the blocks are in place and I am more focused than ever. Just for today...
Keep the blocks in place Vamp, you're doing the right thing. I'm going to work today (locally) with £5 in my pocket. No cards or any other way of getting cash whatsoever. It's the only way.
Day 73. Strapped well into the wagon which is cruising in the fast lane!
Checking in on 99 days 🙂
You're dead right, Mixer. We can't gamble if we don't have money. I'll never be able to have access to large sums of money again or carry large amounts of cash on me but I'm more than happy to do this if it leads to a gamble free life. I've proven time after time that I cannot be trusted with having access to money. The road to gambling now is full of blocks.

Checking in - Day 34.
Congratulations dsh as this will be your 100th day g.f. Hope you will be kind and treat yourself to something nice for yourself or something which will make you really happy.
Take care all. Have a lovely g.f weekend and so will I.
Our Lady
100 days not out.
Thank you Our Lady and thank you to everyone within this challenge. Although I dont contribute much it has given me a place to read up on the experiences that others in my position have been kind enough to share and to reflect on my own journey. It has also encouraged me to set short term goals that I hope will ultimately lead to a GF life.
Thank you Mixer for what is a simple yet effective initiative, at least as far as my journey goes. Although Ive tried to give up in the past Ive never been as determined and resolute as I am right now!
Looking forward to 200 days now, onwards and upwards 🙂
Congratulations centenarians!
Checking in on day 49.

Financially maybe, but the gambling industry doesn't provide credit free / tab free bets for no reason. Its to keep the gambler on the hook of the addiction.
Checking in 30 days GF!! 😀 1 month!
Checking In 🙂

*** ROLLCALL OF SUCCESS ***
Hitting personal 100 day targets are Jim 24 and dsh - a fantastic achievement, well done indeed. Keep going another day, and you, too, will hit the 100-day challenge target. Fantastic result and our group toasts your good health!
Here we are, then, on the eve of a symbolic, important day where 13 of our number will be the first to cross the 100-day challenge finish line and prove that: with the right help, support, practical steps and, above all, the commitment to see it through, it IS possible to be GF for at least 100 days. Something I, personally will learn form, having stumbled (but having got straight back into the saddle).
Tomorrow, our 13 names will be listed in a special roll of honour, and awarded BRONZE status. It also means their count will reset to zero! Yep, back to Day 1. But, this time, a further 100 days will award SILVER status. The reason for this appraoch is that, pyschologically, it is deemed better to start from 0 and climb back to 100, then to continue from 101 and strive for 200. There's science behind this, and I hope everyone on the challenge doesn't mind this way forward. I am commissioning Bronze medals, with a '100' logo (nothing more) as a memento to keep as a reminder of what is a genuine achievement. Please let me know if you would like one, and I will arrange with Gamcare for a sensible way forward that continues the anonymity that this site does so well.
After tomorrow, there are plenty of our group in the slipstream who will also pass 100 days, so the list of finishers is going to get longer and longer! That... is wonderful!
Let's keeping running, everyone, in this long-distance race. The finish line will be so sweet, and then, a new race will begin, with another glistening finishing line beckoning. Do it once, you can do it again!
As always; one day at a time.
*** THOUGHT OF THE DAY ***
Wondering if you can go Gambling Free for another day? For longer, maybe? Just look at what we have already acheived...
REMEMBER YOUR GREATNESS
Before you were born,
And were still too tiny for
The human eye to see,
You won the race for life
From among 250 million competitors.
And yet,
How fast you have forgotten
Your strength,
When your very existence
Is proof of your greatness.
You were born a winner,
A warrior,
One who defied the odds
By surviving the most gruesome
Battle of them all.
And now that you are a giant,
Why do you even doubt victory
Against smaller numbers,
And wider margins?
The only walls that exist,
Are those you have placed in your mind.
And whatever obstacles you conceive,
Exist only because you have forgotten
What you have already
Achieved
Going GF...? Bring it on!
