*** ROLLCALL OF SUCCESS *** Sam, hitting 300 days today - magnificent; eating up those GF days one by one. And Vamp, hitting 50 - really, REALLY, meaning this. Congratulations to you both.
The challenge continues! Let's all get to BRONZE, then, like some of our number, let's aspire to SILVER!
fiddlesticks - Absolutely delighted that you are enjoying Berlin, made possible by being GF. I, likewise, am enjoying a trip to Cornwall next week because of the money I have saved (despite my lapse). Really, truly, looking forward to it - living life is the way to go!
*** THOUGHT OF THE DAY ***
Just for today, I choose NOT to gamble, whatever the provacation!
Should sc not be in the bronze group mix?
Hi Rhoda, thanks for alerting me 🙂 all fixed now.
(Sorry, Mari - you'll see in the Rollcall challenge you're proudly there as one of the "first 13" !)

Thank you for your kind words, JayD and an absolute pleasure to have you as part of the challenge. You're keeping a disciplined stance and approach to this, not only giving yourself every chance but also a real inspiration to others.
Congratulations to everyone who crossed the line , not only them but congratulations to everyone who chooses to keep fighting everyday , if you're on day one or 1001 we're all one bet away from disaster,
Checking in 203 not out
Checking in GF. 28 days. So far, so good but never complacent.
Gf day back at work. Positive vibes all around every day gf is a bonus yes it's hard and can be emotional but don't let it be your life learn to live it put all the little thoughts in a box and forget them. One day at a time .Always welcome anyone who also has a problem new or old just goes to show what gambling can do it can wreak havoc .keep the spirit ppl
Dswright - coming up to a calendar month; keep it going, and smash those GF days through payday and beyond. I'm doing the same; determined to keep a really good GF roll going. Well done for 28 fantastic days so far - nice one.
So the 100 days has finally arrived, I'm not really an emotional person and do struggle to talk to people about what I call my weaknesses and I didn't think it would effect me hitting the ton not out but it did make me think about how things have improved and where I want to go. I've not massively contributed to this group but reading your posts and feeling part of a team has stopped me hitting the roulette, horses and sports betting so thank you one and all. Just got home after spending the evening with my little boy and that's the biggest reward I could have received. Catch you all soon.
Day 75, days are flying by now! Had my 9th counselling session yesterday just 3 more to go, feeling like this is a part of my life I can walk away from forever, but not being complacent and keeping blocks in place for good!

Quick check in on day 52. These really are unchartered waters for me in terms of a period of not gambling but the support of this group and my weekly GA meeting is really helping me to stay focused.
I bought myself a new top to celebrate 50 days GF. Nothing too expensive, only £20. But it felt so good actually using my wages to pay for something other than gambling. I felt really happy walking out of the shop. April will see another of my creditors ticked off the list who I had been paying £190 per month to for 18 months so that extra money is going to make a huge difference. At present once all the bills are paid and debts paid, I am left with £200 per month to live on. This will soon be £390 and I have three payments left of another debt which takes up £218 per month.
It's only been 52 days but good things are already starting to happen. Keep strong everyone.
