Checking In on Day 112
Had to look at my day counter this morning, not so long ago the day count was everything, almost an obsession watching it slowly climb day by day...Now? Yeah it's important but it's not the be all and end all....Accepting myself....Accepting I am and always will be an addict, accepting it was me and only me responsible for choices I made....thats what's important because in doing so I can move forward....Slowly but surely.....I'll settle for that!

Day 107 GF
First alcohol in two months last night.....messy on an empty stomach, but enjoyed the release from the healthy regime. Saw the flashing llights of the fruit machines, heard the hard luck stories of the punters, listened to the fixed odds plans for today.........I really couldnt have been more disinterested.
Gambling you are my enemy, the thought of you makes me feel sick....(or is that just the hangover ? ) 🙂
Checking in gf yes Sbb went for a drink saw the flashing metal box in the corner but ignored it enjoyed having a quiet pint rather than being a zombie stuck in the corner wasting my money then going going home skint.So all good

Day 1 - I have nothing else to say other than Failure.
Day 198 GF, hope everyone had a good weekend. Just found out that I am going to be a Dad, extra motivation to never give in to the addiction.

Congratulation to Dean0 for achieving a double century a few days back - fantastic result for a terrific chap. Well done mate! And, hot on Dean0's heels is Samson, who will hit his double ton up tomorrow. Excellent progress, well over half a year GF - what we must ALL aspire to.
JayD - you're quite right, we can never get too comfortable, because being GF is hard work, but great that you are enjoying the fruits of gambling free life. Long may you do so.
Markman - you're doing great with only a fifth of the way to go before your ton up. Keep it going 🙂
Vamp - Delighted you are enjoying the financial benefits of beng GF plus something money simply cannot buy - peace of mind.
Panders - doing a great job keeping those sessions going. Do consider what you are going to do after they're completed, so you have continuity as you keep a GF life on track.
Jim - really happy for you mate. The peace of mind that being GF gives is amazing, and your young son is certainly benefiting. Really delighted life is truly on the up and delighted to have you on this forum as a proud BRONZE member - that was harded-earned and well bloody deserved.
