We can't win

The thing I keep reading is, we can't win because we can not stop! Every gambler thinks at first that this isn't them! That they will just deposit one more time, win big and withdraw. I won £15,000 which was paid out over 3 months (website rules). I did not reverse the withdrawal, so was really pleased. However, this is where the true gambler comes in! Because the payout was spread over three months, I had the perfect opportunity to gamble it all away! I received the first £5,000 which just covered the losses in my bank account and the rest was gambled away. Adament I wouldn't do it with the second £5000 I stopped gambling, for a short time. I paid off a debt, but quickly acquired another. I am awaiting the final £5000 now. Current account is at £0 so I will receive the full amount. I will use 3/4 to pay off a debt and the rest to maintain current account. That is the true test for my self control. I can not mess this up for a third time! I will still have a couple of debts but compared to how its been in the past, its easy to manage. As long as I don't waste my money gambling! Although I was of course happy to win such an amount, it definitely been my downfall! When you win on one website you get it in your head its possible on others! Knowing you are receiving that money makes you care less about the money you're wasting as you know it's getting replaced! I have seen no benefit from this win, and if I carry on I never will! I will not gamble this away or it will never end! I want so much to sort my life out. I want to wake up (and Sleep !) Without that feeling of dread and realisation that you've spent everything you have and more! I honestly can prove that we never win because we can not stop! The only way to win is not to do it at all! I'm trying, on day 4 xx

Good job, I got the same problem with if I won money it is hard to not reverse it and play. I already did it many times and all the reverse withdrawals I have lost. Keep on going

Just wanted to agree with both these posts, and to add a couple of points. One:- i won overall from a good casino in respect of its payouts and admin staff, about £K12 in three months, one might say pretty good, but I actually accrued £K122 in available funds from mid October 2015 - Early December 2015, I was unable to withdraw due to its £K10 a month withdrawal limit, so it was just sat there and you know what I lost the lot in 8 hours, because I wanted to keep the £K120 so once it started going down from playing i kept chasing to get it back. Two points - its a bit rich on-line casinos having payout restrictions as there generally is no pay in restriction !! secondly we cannot stop once we start - especially when you get a figure in your head you want to get back to - The only way forward for a CG is never to gamble in any form again, complete absistence - it hurts but you have to get to rock bottom, suffer awful depression from lack of dopalmine (brain drug), and make that decision - NEVER AGAIN
