Last night was the tipping point for me. I lost £200 at a casino then lost a further £400 online. I have never told anyone close to me about my addiction but today I had to. I was sit in the car with my mum when I just completely lost it and had a breakdown. I feel I have finally reached the first stage of recovery in telling loved ones about my addiction. I really hope today is the first day of the rest of my life.

Well done for admitting your problem, it's not easy as often others don't understand why gamblers do what they do. The new part is even more important. Take the opportunity that now presents itself and start 2015 gambling free.

It was genuinely the hardest thing I've ever done. My mum was very supportive though. I was just sitting in the ca and broke down in tears so I had no choice but to tell her
