Hi Pol, Just had a read through your diary and posts. We are a similar age and i too had a debt and managed to stop gambling for 2 1/2 years but got caught up in a moment a few weeks back and gave in. Luckily managed to get a grip of myself and stopped after 2 days. Anyway, just thought i would say really well done for 27 days and more importantly fair play for owning up to your responsiblilty and saying to your fiance. It was the hardest thing i ever did admitting i had a problem but sharing it does make things easier. I found the first 3 months the hardest but believe me it does get easier over time especially when you see your debt going down. Stick with it mate and in time you will feel happier than ever. Jason

Thanks Suzanne really appreciate your support really helping me keep positive, hi Jason nice to meet you, sorry to hear about your realipse after 2 n half years, glad u stoped after 2 days as I can imagen that is a very hard thing to do, thanks for the kind comments and I agree it's the best thing I did telling her as I really have agreed with her that I won't gamble again and the thought of losing her kills me so I'm happy she knows, good luck with your recovery, 2 and half years is a amazing hope it all goes well u can do it mate.

Thanks mate, as can you. I found having something that you can do or rely on when you have a real bad urge helps to get you through it. For example a song or something that reminds you of how rubbish you feel when you have lost all that money and feel alone! Will keep an eye on your diary, have a good day!

28 days gamble free, Well it's the 1st time last night when i finished work that I actually forgot all about roulette and gambleing feels good as I was in a really good mood thinking back, I know this is only the start but im gonna give it my all I've been here before ,4 months gamble free and the slightest thing triggers it, not this time they can f***f the robbing t**t*. All have a great gamble free day

Day 31 gamble free just a quick update no gambleing going ikia with gf and daughter top news last night our offer got excepted on house so house shoping 🙂 happy weekend everyone
