Hi Feb,

Urges come and go and i have learnt to accept that i will get them it used to really throw me off track in the early days as i thought i wouldnt get any. You did so well fighting it and each time you do you understand them and yourself more and will become stronger.

Well done and keep on that bright side of the street.

take care

blondie xx

WEEK 7. DAY 45 -it's another day, it's another "NO" (to GAMBLING)

Going to plant my three plants I bought at the weekend with cost all of £5.00!! Much happiness from £5.00 - how good is that!

All bright and breezy here again i'm very happy to day.

Feb -All looking and feeling good again on "The Bright Side of the Road"

Aww... That's nice! I know it was only a fiver but when we're in gambling mode we miss out on little luxuries like that. It's nice to be able to get a treat sometimes. I went to visit an old friend a couple of weeks ago and I bought a Clifford the big red dog dvd, peppa pig playbook and some sweeties for his little girl... Gambling Stub couldn't have done that, none gambling Stub could and did and it made him feel good about himself! (for a change!)

Keep doing what you're doing Feb. It's nicer on the bright side!

Monsieur Stub 🙂 x

Hey Feb,

Congrats on your journey to a gamble free life, your doing great! I find things I buy for myself or other people now that I'am sober have value, where in the past I lost the value of money in my addiction. Well done, stay strong.

WEEK 7. DAY 46. "It's another day, it's another "NO" (to GAMBLING)

Had a good busy day -made the most of my day rider bus ticket - been on 7 buses!!

Friends from work comming to visit tmrw for tea. Moroccan Lamb on the agenda followed by Choc and Peanut Butter Squares. Cooking/baking these are better than gambling any day. It's so good to still have money in my account/purse to pay for these. I actually bought my day 50 gamble free treat to myself- even though it's not until Sunday!! I am confident so I bought a hand blender for £5.50!! It's brill and just what I was looking for.

All in all, a happy "gamble free" day.

Take care everyone.

Hello Lady 🙂

Sounds like you're having a great old time! Though getting your 50 day treat early??? Hmm?... Not sure that should be allowed? 😉

Keep it up Lady Feb! Enjoy your day tomorrow 🙂 x

It was a pure one off Stubbsy, as I was in the shop and have been looking out for one for a while. I promise I won't do it again!

Hmmm.......

Off to the Courts today for a 'pre visit' before my trial next week. Half of me is "brickin it" the other half is feeling "strong and determined"!!

Lots of conflicting thoughts and emotions racing round my head at the min! Still, my work colleagues are comming to visit tonight for tea so that will be something nice to look forward to.

Fast approaching my 50th gamble free day! No more gambling NEVER, NEVER, NEVER.

Feb - Today, walking cautiously down the "Bright Side of the Road"
