WEEK 21. DAY 141. It's another week's "NO" (to GAMBLING).

Thanks Chicago

What a glorious day! The sun is shining inside and out in Feb's world. Entering into my 21st week of being gamble free and normality gradually becomming more and more apparent as the days and weeks are rolling into months!

Feeling normal again for me, is just the greatest feeling. No, I don't have a huge amount of disposable income at the min but it is definitely getting better as the months go by. Certainly enough to pay all my bills, comfortably feed myself and treat myself to one big thing per month, with smaller treats along the. way. I think it's the smaller treats which make me realise that normality is entering back into my life again on a daily basis. It feels so good.

I owed my mum some money and I have now paid her all of this back. I also owe my lovely sister money and the other night, I drew up a spreadsheet of what I owed. I have started to pay her back now and it feels so good to be able to do so. I'm actually thriving on typing the payments in each month on my spreadsheet!! It feels so good.

Talking of my sister - having a girly weekend with her and my mum. She is comming to pick me up soon. Barbeque later, church tomorrow, followed by brunch and then girly afternoon at my sisters with more friends - drinks and music!! Bliss. Oh and my lovely mum is treating us all to lunch today! I am a lucky girl!!

Hope everyone feels the sun shining from within today like me. Being gamble free allows this to happen!!

Take care everyone and look after yourselves.

Hey lady 🙂

Sorry I've not posted on here for a wee while. Just a quick one to say well done... 142 days is brilliant! I'm very jealous! I'm determined to get back on track and catch you, though when I reach 142 you'll be on 278! Ah well... I'll still keep on chasing you! Take care Lady Feb and catch up on the chattying room soon 🙂 x

WEEK 21. DAY 142 GAMBLE FREE.

Just tried to go on the Chat rooms and it has been cancelled - AGAIN!!! What's going on??? Was looking forward to that as well.

Still chocca block in work. Had a mad one today - the group I was working with were manic and very animated. Still, before I knew it, it was 5.30pm. Time to go home I thought. Straight into the garden to water my pots and plants. Very therapeutic and it passes the time away.

Gambling? What's that??? No thoughts, no desire to - NOT IN A MILLION!! Why spoil a good thing I say!!

Another hectic day tomorrow but for the remainder of today, I shall relax. Time for a cup of tea soon with a Cadbury's Twirl - heaven.

Take care everyone and remain strong.

Lady Feb - Over but not out on "The Bright Side of the Road"!!

Hey Fine lady,

What a great post, You sound like you have bridged that gap nicely back to "normal" living (what ever that is lol ).

I find that each day that passes i think less and less about my gambling and look forward to the future with excitement rather than dread.

Enjoy that chocolate twirl, My snickers was delicious lol.

take care on that sunny side of the street

blondie xx
