WEEK 14.

Sorry not been on in over a week. Been feeling quite down if Im honest - pressure of Christmas and other events have been getting to me. Got to just keep plugging away at trying to better my situation, day by day, week by week, month by month and so on.

Take care all.

Feb - Down and feeling a lttle beaten but hopefully not for long.

I'm feeling it too, Feb. Winter blues I call it. Another year passing so quickly, gets me feeling a bit strange and miserable also. Wish you the best. Keep plugging away and staying busy you'll be okay.

Good to see you're still doing so well with your recovery though. Looking back at the end of the year you'll be glad you got a handle on this gambling problem you've had, I know that and it should provide comfort. I sometimes don't think we appreciate how well we've done to give this gambling bug the heave-ho. You've come far Feb and I'm happy for you!

Hey Feb,

No need to repost darling but i really understand how you feel. The same as Alex said, i call it winter blues. I am suns child and cold and short days, don't really help.

Christmas can put extra pressure on it all, definately, but when it comes, it will be day full of joy.

You not on your own darling...another day another smile or little tear. Beautiful life at it's colours...:-)

You will be fine and come out the other end. Maybe today is the day when you wake up with smile on your face and spring in your feet? 🙂

I hope you do!!

Take care and keep it up

WEEK 15..

A bit skint at the min and problems with my boiler???!!! Why do these things always go on the blink just before Christmas? Wont have much dosh for Christmas but have a lovely family to spend it with, which I am lucky and thankful for.

Hoping to put some plans into place in January to help me prepare for a better Christmas in 2014.

Take care all.

WEEK 16.

Still skint and cannot wait for payday in two weeks time. Found out that my boiler was fine but the bad news is that I have a huge hot water pipe leak!! I am thankfully, insured for the pipes to be repaired but not for the loss of water, which amounted to 14,400 litres per day for 7 days!!!! Massive water bill ahead and as pipe is embedded in wall, lots of cosmetic work to be done afterwards!! But do you know what, I have felt much much worse than hearing all this - that is when in the past, I have gambled all of my salary away!! Nothing is worse than that feeling.

I am not going to let the above get to me and I am going to deal with it as and when.

Off to my sister's for the weekend which I am looking forward to.

Take care all and remain strong.

Feb - feeling "hopeful" on the "Bright Side of the Road".

Hi LF

What a great attitude 🙂

Sorry to hear about the plumbing catastrophe but I'm mega impressed at how you've coped.

Gimme a bell if you're free at weekend for a catch up. (I've got work's night Fri but otherwise should be at home)

Take care

Irene
